Using Domestika, I took an online course titled Landscape Painting with Gouache, the objective was to learn how to paint with gouache by sketching and illustrating a colorful, natural environment from a photo reference.
Living in Texas, we have lots of bluebonnets in the spring. Here I went to the park near my house & photographed some areas I liked. I selected this image because I liked the tree to the side & the flowers in the front area.
