2024 Christmas Make Market

In October 2023 I became the Lead Designer for Unfinished & managed all of Christmas 2024, as well as designed the collection. I worked with my cross functional team, Product Development & Merchants/Buyers, to develop and curate a collection that would be classic but also trendy. I designed pieces that would speak to our traditional customer, but also items that would draw in a new customer. This season I considered items that would captivate our customer to truly want to walk out the door with items on our fixture.

I was excited to find out that during the holiday season in Nov-Dec 2024 the wood houses went viral on social media & I found some conversations on the houses in Reddit. Several influencers posted about them online & most comments mentioned they tried going into the stores to find them, but they were sold out everywhere. Also, Dorm Therapy published an article about them!
