“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words” (Matthew 6:6-7)

Prayer is so important for our daily walk as Christians, Jesus himself taught the disciples how to pray. We aren't to use repetition or memorize our prayers but instead pray from our hearts & speak to God as we would to a friend. Teaching kids to pray at an early age will help them well into their adult life & this is the goal!

Praying with Your Child/ Students
This week I've created a daily journal that you can use to teach your kids how to pray. The activity is something that can be started in the morning before school & then continued before bedtime, it can help your children develop the habit of praying daily & often. You can find the activity on my Print Me! page, & now you can also print the PDF! Find additional prayer activities on our Pinterest page, check out the board titled Prayer.
